Job Purpose:
To play a key role in achieving category growth & brand salience through planning and execution of activations , promotions , merchandising and visibility interventions in multichannel environment
Responsibilities and Duties:
Planning
- Build calendar for each activity & Program in line with business & brand objective with close coordination with sales and marketing team
- Developing activations program for consumers in close coordination with category managers
- Develop yearly merchandising & visibility plan on brand level in line with brand guidelines, Sales feedback as well as Customers & Consumers ' insights across channels Parlour , GT, Modern Trade & HORECA
Innovation
- Drive the innovation agenda for activation by briefing with activation partners in close coordination with Category managers
- Bring innovations in various type of merchandising elements , Formats , substrate to drive effectiveness and cost optimisations.
Launch Support
- Plan in coordination with Marketing and Sales the support for all new launches.
- Develop launch collaterals & merchandising material to support the launches -Permanent visibility elements , POSM , Menu etc.
- Conduct periodically trade visit to assess new launches implantation in key markets.
- Assess launch success & prepare closing report for major launches.
Execution Excellence
- Drive best in class execution of various activations & visibility programs and by close coordination with centrals sales team and on ground teams
- Define clear goals and KPI's and cascading of the same down the line till the front level sales team
- Manage activation & visibility budget efficiently & ensure cost policies are applied having in mind optimization between quality & price.
Control & Monitoring Reporting
- Pre & post execution evaluation through: estimated ROI, market feedback as well as market data readings when applicable.
- Developing the SOP's , Reporting format and measuring the effectiveness of various program against the set KPI's
Training Development
- Developing robust training programs for the sales team- ISR/SO/ASM for effective execution of merchandising and visibility across channel
- Developing training, merchandising and visibility modules for effective execution on ground
- Functional Coordination
- Consult with other functions internally (Sales Team, Supply Chain, Marketing & Finance) as well as externally (Agencies, Key Accounts & Shoppers) as necessary to gain information and insights, as well as achieve results that are aligned with corporate and functional objectives.
- Conduct market visits in coordination with Sales Team & Marketing.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum Qualification: MBA/PG min 5-6 Years of experience
- Must have prior experience at a national level/region level in consumer business.
- Strong knowledge of channels, distribution partners, geographies and consumer goods industry.
- Prior experience in managing dedicated retail channel is preferred
- Strong planning and execution skills and ability to see an activity end to end
- Relationship Management/Negotiation Skills/Cost effective Management
- Ability to Multi-task on several priorities.
- Inter-personal skills to manage people across hierarchies and functions.

- Ability to identify opportunities and effectively convince stake holders on ideas
- Ability to roll up sleeves, work with people and get execution.
- Ability to manage multiple scenarios and adhere to tight deadlines
