Role Name: Manager - Supply Chain

Location: Delhi

Context

The successful candidate will lead the entire North cluster wide operations and related activities to ensure compliance, cost savviness while modernizing and transforming the supply chain. Therefore, primary delivery parameters will be Operational as well as transformational. We need the candidate to exhibit operational excellence, execution and its control. He/ She is also expected to provide recommendations to senior management on the same.

Key Responsibilities

- Managing operations of large WHs having a significant employee workforce and handling inward/storage/dispatch operations

- Inventory planning, vehicle route planning, vehicle scheduling, throughput planning, storage planning, sales event planning.

- Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services

- Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency

- Arrange warehouse, catalogue goods, plan routes and process shipments

- Resolve any arising problems or complaints

- Supervise, coach and train warehouse workforce

- Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets

- Maintain metrics and analyse data to assess performance and implement improvements

- Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements

- Produce stock reports - IN/OUT status report, slow moving, dead stock report etc

- Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases

Key Result Areas:

- Drive standardization in operations across the group

- Smooth functioning of supply chain with Zero stock out at WH or Stores location

- Logistics cost optimization and move forward towards an efficient network

- Compliance and governance reinforcement across all operations

- Reduction/Optimization in - Cost to Serve- for all associated heads

- Internal and external benchmarking hence deliver - Best in Class- WH and stores solution

Desired Skills and Competency:

- Prior experience in managing supply chain or at least handling WH operations

- Excellent in managing daily operations with great operational discipline

- Great in managing a large team of people while keeping them motivated

- Problem solving attitude and ready for any business challenge all throughout

Educational & Experience requirements:

1. MBA with 4-6 Years of experience in the areas of Supply Chain/ Logistics/Warehousing Operations

2. Prior experience of working in SAP environment is desirable

3. Ability to deal with multiple stake holders and drive standardization
