Context:

About the Role:

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) for Central Functions is a strategic HR role responsible for providing HR support and guidance to the central functions of the company. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Human Resources and collaborates with stakeholders across all company locations. The HRBP will play a key role in aligning HR strategies with business objectives, driving organizational effectiveness, and fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

1. Strategic HR Partnership:

- Partner with central function leaders to understand business goals and develop HR strategies that align with the overall company objectives.

- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR initiatives to drive organizational performance and efficiency.

2. Employee Relations:

- Act as a trusted advisor to central function employees, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.

- Address employee concerns, conduct investigations, and work to resolve conflicts in a fair and timely manner.

3. Talent Management:

- Collaborate with central function leaders to identify key talent needs and facilitate workforce planning initiatives.

- Support talent acquisition efforts, including recruitment, selection, and onboarding of central function employees

4. Performance Management:

- Work closely with leadership to implement and oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans.

- Provide coaching to managers on effective performance management techniques.

5. Employee Engagement:

- Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement, morale, and retention within central functions.

- Conduct regular surveys and feedback sessions to gauge employee satisfaction and address areas for improvement.

6. Learning and Development:

- Identify training needs within central functions and coordinate the development and delivery of training programs.

- Support career development initiatives and succession planning for key roles.

7. Policy Development and Compliance:

- Stay current with HR laws and regulations and ensure policies and practices are compliant.

- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address HR-related legal matters.

8. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Work closely with HR colleagues, department heads, and business leaders across all locations to foster collaboration and consistency in HR practices.

- Contribute to HR projects and initiatives as needed.

Requirements:

Educational & Experience requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in human resources management, Business Administration, or a related field.

- A relevant master's degree is a plus.

- Proven experience (3-5 years) in a Human Resources role, preferably in a telecommunications/internet service provider company.

- Sound knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.

- In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.

Experience in the Telecommunications or Internet Service Provider industry is a plus.

- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.

- Proven ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.

- Strategic mindset with the ability to align HR initiatives with business goals.

- Excellent people management and leadership skills.
