ACME - Head - R&D - CVD Diamond

Key Responsibilities

- Process recipe development & optimization for gems, electronic and optics grade diamond.

- Establish polishing rough diamond process to accomplish GEM grade diamonds and also help in setting the lab facility for same at ACME.

- Review the current lab set up, layout, gas pipeline installation and other facilities for safety.

- Assist in enabling commercialization of ACME diamonds by providing a scalable process solution.

- Assist in the vendor & equipments selection for in house diamond seed cleaning & manufacturing; establish the set up and process development at ACME.

- Provide the support in the ongoing lab expansion of testing & characterization facilities and diamond product.

- Technology knowledge transfer and trained the ACME personnel to grown the diamonds independently.

- Help in having ACME own IP or provide the licence/Free to operate certificate for diamond manufacturing.

Qualifications

- B.Tech/B.Sc/M.Tech/M.Sc/Ph.D (Electrical, Electronics, Material, Mechanical, Physics, Chemistry) with 7-10 year experience in consulting in the diamond industry

- Hand on experience in MWPCVD, HFCVD, & PECVD operation and optimization, including related equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.

- In-depth and broad knowledge of the plasma and vacuum technology.

- In-depth understanding and familiarity of various characterization techniques for diamond testing.

- Experience in handling the flammable gases, high voltage equipment etc
