Acko - Head - D2C Growth P&L - Car Insurance (10-15 yrs)

Responsibilities

- Responsible for top-line growth for D2C Auto insurance business and a key stakeholder to maintain a healthy P&L.

- Responsible for end-to-end conversion funnel for our D2C Auto business, starting from generating the right demand to owning the product, sales and retention funnel

- Manage the marketing budget and revenue for the category. Build and execute acquisition plans every month working with all stakeholder teams.

- Devise GTM and long-term development strategies for category growth

- Own the quality of customers

- Identify new avenues of product-led growth

- Increase LTV of customers by implementing scalable and repeatable retention and cross-sell strategies

- Know the market: Stay on top of trends in an ever-changing landscape, find opportunities and prioritize based on size, internal capabilities etc.

- Lead a pod of diverse individuals who will be leading Performance Marketing, Product Marketing, Sales, Business Operations, Brand & Content Marketing, Analytics and Customer Service

- Work with the insurance product and pricing team to optimise the value proposition, features and plan launch of additional products / plans

- Manage stakeholders across different functions and align them towards a common goal

- Work cross-functionally with multiple category teams and exchange learnings

- Define, track and improve key metrics. Collate and analyze key daily/weekly/monthly data on various performance parameters and report key findings.

- Devise key value-propositions for each customer segment and ensure there's consistency in communication at all touchpoints

- Assure customer experience never gets compromised in a bid to chase top-line goals

- Champion a culture of product-led growth within the company

Requirements :

- Should have 10+ years relevant experience as a Category Growth Head or a similar role.

- Should have a good understanding of digital marketing channels

- Should love data and analytics.

- Hands-on experience with MMPs such as Appsflyer/ Branch / Adjust is a plus

- Comfortable with adapting to various tools that can help boost the efforts on growth like Analytics (Google Analytics, Amplitude), BI Tools (GBQ, Tableau, Google Data Studio), Communication (Clevertap, WebEngage), Experimentation (VWO, Optimizely), and understand user behaviour (Hotjar, Fullstory)

- Understanding of play-store analytics and app ecosystem

- Solid knowledge of category management, business development principles and product-led growth

- Excellent communication and people management skills

- Passion to work in a fast-paced start-up

- Market knowledge of insurance is an added advantage
