Accounts & Taxation Role - Media/Entertainment

Responsibilities :

Direct tax :

1. Preparing and filing form 15CB & 15CA for foreign remittance

2. Calculations of tax deducted at source for foreign and domestic vendors and monthly payment of TDS.

3. Filing of quarterly TDS returns.

4. Preparing documents for Assessment and Appeals for submission to income tax authorities.

5. Attending scrutiny and Appeals proceedings.

6. Application for certificate required under section 197 of income tax act, 1961( lower tax deduction certificate).

7. Liasoning with tax Auditors for tax audit.

8. Filing of income tax returns.

9. Income tax planning within the four corners of the law.

Indirect Tax :

1. Calculating monthly outward tax liabilities and input on inward supplies (GST) and payment thereof

2. Calculating monthly GST payable on reverse charge mechanism and payment thereof.

3. Analysing whether GST on inward supplies is claimable or not, accordingly effect to be given in books of accounts and returns.

4. Filing of monthly GST returns and monthly GSTR-2A reconciliation with books of accounts and follow up with vendors for discrepancies if any. Filing Annual GST return.

5. 5. GST planning within the four corners of the law.

Accounting & Advisory and miscellaneous :

1. Overview books of accounts monthly and suggest changes to accounting team, if any.

2. Providing inputs on Contracts with vendors and clients regarding tax implications if any.

3. Liasoning with Vendors and clients for payments and tax matters.

4. Cash flow management.

5. Liasoning with AIFF for club licensing.

6. Any other on job duty relating for finance and taxation matters.
