- Manage overall performance of the Payment Processing process by providing strategic and operational leadership, ensuring effective service delivery, maximum stakeholder satisfaction & team management. - Approval authority for payments above materiality - Review Payment Due list prepared by Payment Process Associate and provide approval/rejection - Check for availability of Funds for Payments. Coordinate with Treasury to arrange funds (when required) - Negotiate, develop and deliver SLAs and ensure that operational processes and procedures are followed. - Develop and maintain relationships with Divisional Finance Heads, key Managers and with vendors - Represent Payment processing processes in company and governance meetings - Manage escalated issues and provide final approval within team - Ensure timeliness and accuracy of all items processed in the system - Sponsor, initiate and ensure execution of continuous improvement and/or re-engineering projects to assure progressive service levels and lower costs. - Ensure timely identification and reporting of risks. - Coordinate with Business, Helpdesk, and other key stakeholders if necessary to resolve issues - Ensure effective people management and development, including: staffing & selection, integration of new staff to teams, facilitating technical/ functional training, measuring individual and team performance, providing feedback and managing people issues - Monitor team performance and ensure that SLAs and KPIs are achieved in the area of operations - Perform root cause analysis for not meeting KPIs benchmarks - Carry out periodical performance reviews of team members and address non-performance issues - Ensure adherence to all statutory and legal requirements and keep updated with latest developments Desired Candidate Profile : - M.Com / MBA -Finance (Must) - Quality certifications such as Lean, six sigma black belt would be an added advantage - Minimum of 10 years of experience in Finance & Accounts function with minimum 5 years in leading a payment processing team - SAP financial application experience preferred and SAP experience of payments processes - Experience in Shared Services/ BPO would be an added advantage - Knowledge of Fertilizer and Pesticides business area - Candidate willing to relocate to Vizag - Female candidates preferred for this role
