Essential Job Functions

A) Statutory Requirements:

- Ensures compliance with department policies and procedures and applicable laws, rules, and regulations

- Working Knowledge of Indirect Taxes such as Excise, VAT, Service Tax

- Maintaining updated records related to C, F and I Forms and follow up with Customers for outstanding forms

- Experience with calculation of TDS

- Knowledge about GST, with information about acts and provisions

- Filling of monthly returns like TDS, GST, and others as applicable

B) Record Keeping:

- Maintain records and all accounting documents for Purchase (local and import) and Sale Transactions, Journal Voucher with proper fillings

C) Accounting:

- Sales and Purchase entries in Accounting software

- Costing of Import Transaction

- Manage vendor payments and initiate cheque payments

- Other expense and bill bookings

D) Reporting:

- Assisting in monthly MIS reporting

-Assisting in finalization of accounts

- Assists with developing a variety of reports to analyze financial transactions, consolidate information and provide financial recommendations

E) Banking Transaction:

- Well versed in local banking transactions like NEFT, RTGS, Cheque payments

- Knowledge of A1 and A2 payments

- Prepare and co-ordinate to make Foreign currency payments

- Do bank reconciliations as per predefined cycle.

Desired Candidate Profile

- To be tailor-fit for the above skillsets, you need to have,

- 3 - 4 years of experience in the field of Accounting and Statutory Compliance

- Bachelors degree in Accounting or equivalent education and experience

- An MCom/ CA/ MBA Finance degree would be preferred but is not mandatory

Skill Requirements:

- Applying fundamental accounting principles and practices

- Understanding of advanced principles within an area of accounting

- Ensuring compliance with department policies and procedures and applicable laws, rules, and regulations

- Researching and resolving financial discrepancies

- Analyzing and preparing complex or advanced financial reports

- Filing and maintaining records

- Performing data entry

- Good Communication skill ( English)

- PC skills; Tally, Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); and other applications as required

- Harmonious relationship with Internal Teams and colleagues.


Salary Offered : 6-7LPA
