Accounting Control - BFSI

Job Profile:

- Responsible for the monthly Balance sheet regulatory reporting for Cash equities and Bonds under IFRS and Basel III reporting for failed trades.

- Investigate issues in Pre processes for IFRS GAAP001&2 reporting and fix (Temporary or Strategic) them by posting adjustments for Monthly BS closing and reporting.

- Good experience in Open / Failed trades reporting (End to End IFRS settlement date reporting) for ME and clearing Inter-Co breaks and reduction of RWA and Cap deduction.

- Support change management initiatives by participating in the CTB activities where tactical / Strategic fix is required on trade related issues.

- Support Day on Day Balance sheet reporting team on moves for substantiating the variance on BS moves with respect to IFRS settlement date reporting requirement.

- Investigation of breaks (Recurring & ADHOC) and posting ledger entries using DB for the fail trades, MTMs, Duplicate trades, Acc treatment which cause RWA and Basel II issues

- Resolving feed issues for proper flow of data between the risk management systems and Settlement systems and ops.

- Manage and work for Nostro, IC Liquidity Funding and Open/fail trades Teams. Involves work allocation, Monthly feedbacks, handle complex queries and manage escalations.
