Accountant/Senior Accountant - Shared Service Center - CA

Shift Timings - 11 AM - 8 PM | 12 PM - 9 PM (Cab allowances post 7 PM)

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with Group accounting principles and financial reporting standards

- Keeping track of all financial processes, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.

- Advising on the improvement of the financial management system, internal control system and the use of financial management software

- Review journal entries of junior accountants to ensure accuracy.

- Balance sheet reconciliations

- Oversee all the transactional process (AR, AP & GL).

- Cost centre analysis

- Monthly accruals and other ledger journals

- Preparation of VAT returns

- Interaction with senior stakeholders

- Assisting with audit queries

- Payment proposal submission to country manager

- Inventory accounting/closing

- Coordinating with country manager regarding stock counting

- Currency revaluations ( AP ,AR, GL, Banks )

- Train and mentor junior staff.
