Financial Reporting Accountant Responsibilities for accountant, financial reporting : - Review and analyze monthly financial results to ensure accounting accuracy, investigate and explain identified variances, and monitor compliance with regulatory requirements - Calculate and prepare monthly accrual entries - Prepare allocations and divisional financial statements - Assist in preparing the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, and other external/internal financial reporting tasks - Provide client assistance needed by auditors for reviews and annual financial statement audits - Support weekly review of cash flow activity - Coordinate the annual budget and forecasting process for the company - Deliver high quality service to clients through accurate, timely completion of all assigned tasks and requests for information Qualifications for accountant, financial reporting : - Detail oriented and strong focus in quality - Strong communication skills - Experience in the preparation of Financial Statements highly regarded - Understanding of US GAAP and IFRS - CPA or equivalent qualification is a plus - Ability to identify and evaluate issues while quickly and independently recommending solutions to appropriate supervisors - Experience in the technology sector is a plus - Strong Quickbooks experience and skills
