Our Client is a leading global source of critical information and insight, ensuring provision of the most complete and trusted data and expertise. Our Client's product and service solutions are focused around the four most important areas viz. Energy, Product Lifecycle, Security and Environment.

With a view to grow its presence in South East Asia, particularly India, currently they are looking for high caliber sales professionals to drive one of its fastest growing industry solution. For the same, they are looking at hiring an Account Manager - Product Design, based out of Mumbai.

Job Description

You will be responsible for:

- Achievement of Net New Sales Target assigned by Sales Management.

- Identify & win new opportunities within assigned accounts, and new prospects.

- Achievement of Overall Territory Growth or Renewal Retention Rate Target.

- Take action to increase customer satisfaction, reduce cancellations, preserve customer investment, and focused customer Win-Back efforts.

- Identify opportunities for Cross selling additional business unit's products.

- Prospecting and development of new leads, as well as the continued follow-up and support of the sales cycle.

- Managing and developing an efficient and effective Channel Partner network.

- Development of Professional Account Plans and customer profiles as well as Professional Territory Plans and Strategies.

- Conduct business development activities including attendance & representation at industry trade shows and conferences.

- The activity reporting component includes on time delivery of quality reports and the fulfillment of requests from Management, accurate sales and renewal forecasting, use of the Sales Force Automation tools, activity calendar, on time attendance at meetings, and overall professionalism.

The Successful Applicant

You will be a self driven, result oriented individual with proven success and over 10 years of experience in business-to-business consultative sales, generation of new business leads alongwith exceptional account management skills. Experience in selling technical information / publications / software / solutions to the Engineering industry in India will be an added advantage.

The client is looking for someone who has a strong commercial acumen, ability to lead a team and allocate work, strong organisational skills, passion for customer service and excellent communication/interpersonal skills.
