Our client is an ultra luxury fashion accessories global brand.  Qualification:  - CA is a mandatory  - Additional CS degree will be first preference.  - Should have hands on knowledge in accounting and taxation  - Excellent English communication and presentation skills.  - Keen interest in working in the retail sector and or in an international group leadership  - Leadership in order to drive and support a team  - Prefers a candidate staying in South Mumbai vicinity (closer to their office).   General Role : Responsible for statutory financials, Tax and Corporate compliances and Company Secretarial matters  Major Responsibilities :  Finance - Statutory Accounts :  - Preparation the Financials : trial balance, Profit & Loss account, balance sheet, cash flow statement, all the schedules and notes to accounts  - Responsible for the Statutory Audit  - Preparation the monthly fixed assets register and depreciation calculations  - Follow up of provisions, reversals, stock value  - Improvement of the monthly closing process and software parameters (accounts software, stock depreciation software- gross margin)  - Calculation of Foreign Exchange Gain/Loss for intercompany foreign transactions  Taxes - Preparation of local Tax Returns :  - Preparation and conduct of Tax / VAT Audit Report.  - Involvement in Transfer Pricing Audit Report  - Tax payments / Returns and reconciliation : Income, MVAT, DVAT, ETDS, Service Tax, Wealth Tax, Professional tax, EPF and any other national, state or local tax matters  - Handling of all tax matters including Income tax, Service tax, VAT assessments with the help of tax consultant  - Inform management of tax changes as per Indian regulation (GST, ST 14%) and potential impact for the company and its employees.  Secretarial work :   - Preparation of agenda and minutes for Board Meetings  - Archive of statutory records, registers & filling under the Companies Act and other Corporate Laws.  - Development and control over the systems that ensure the Company complies with all applicable legal, secretarial and statutory requirements / GST implementation.
