Key Responsibilities:
- Leads client account teams in the service delivery of all account activity as well as provides the strategic direction of the account
- Responsible to ensure client satisfaction and retention. Take immediate action upon client feedback and help solve client problems
- Formulate thoughtful points of view and recommendations based on broad communication and client landscape
- Independently manages a mid-sized client portfolio. Drives identification and closure of farming opportunities within the portfolio. Plays a key role in business development.
- Expertise on solutions and programs. Is proficient with at least 2 solutions offered by the organization
- Ensures right staffing for clients and optimizing the team
- Motivating teams to collaborate and achieve new heights in client servicing, creating delight for the client. Positive impact on attrition. Ensure proper delegation of work, conflict resolution and foster a healthy camaraderie
- Play the role of a talent ambassador for the organisation. Attracts talent and shares candidate recommendations with HR
- Ensure receivables management within agreed payment timelines
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 8 to 10 years of work experience in public relations or the communications industry
- Understanding of solutions and programs and expertise in at least 4 programs
- Understanding of online reputation management
- Proven record in high client satisfaction and retention levels and track record in new business development
- Capability of driving service quality, client retention and growth and developing the strategy/annual/quarter plan for the client portfolio under control; providing senior level counsel on media, crisis, messaging, etc.; developing strong professional relationships with the key client representatives and developing professional relationships with journalists, analysts and key influencers
- Experience with mentoring, coaching and managing teams members
- Ability to work under high pressure/ambiguous/complex situations and environment
- Demonstration of accountability in all actions and behaviour
- Gravitas and maturity in dealing with the team and client
- Ability to preempt major client issues and address them
- Collaboration and teamwork treating everyone with respect
