Job Responsibilities:
- Leading dynamic teams in crafting strategic and creative solutions for clients. Driving business development through compelling pitches and managing relationships with large clients.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to execute communication plans across traditional and digital platforms.
- Maintaining client relationships at both operational and CXO levels and providing strategic advocacy and effectively managing crises.
- Developing tactical plans, aligning team deliverables with client strategies and generating innovative and creative ideas to deliver impactful results.
- Display an advanced understanding of and keen interest in client businesses and sectors, including competitor analysis, influencer engagement, audience insights, and stakeholder perspectives.
- Cultivating strong relationships with senior journalists and influencers nationally.
- Overseeing the creation and maintenance of a national media network for clients.
- Guiding team in tracking news stories and proactively pitching clients' messages. Leading client pitches in various areas to drive new business growth.
- Deliver comprehensive status reports for Review Meetings with clients, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reviews
Job Requirements:
- 8-15 years of experience in PR, IR, corporate communications, journalism, or related fields.
- Proficient research and communication skills, encompassing written, oral, and presentation abilities.
- Possesses an analytical and strategic mindset, capable of comprehending intricate corporate issues that impact corporate reputation, and adept at crafting effective presentations.
- Familiarity with business operations, capital markets, regulatory frameworks, and policy matters.
- Knowledgeable about the workings of media, and ideally, well-versed in the online ecosystem of influencers.
- Demonstrates a reasonable grasp of digital communication tools and techniques.
- Preferably holds an educational background in fields such as engineering, finance, computer science, Chartered Accountancy (CA), or Investor Relations (IR).
- Boasts work experience in PR/IR firms, corporate sectors with a focus on corporate strategy, journalism within the realm of business media, IR, or related domains.
- Exudes energy, positivity, collaboration, integrity, and a penchant for creative problem-solving.
- Ideally, has prior experience in business development or sales roles.
