Legal Advisor Key Roles and Responsibilities: 1. Contract Management: - Oversee and manage NDAs, contracts, MSAs with both direct clients and channel partners, primarily from the United States and other global markets. - Ensure compliance with legal requirements and mitigate risks in contractual agreements 2. Workplace Compliance: - Manage contracts with contract-based workers within the company. - Provide legal guidance on employment-related matters. - Handle legal compliances for subsidiary entities like Sclera Inc. and Niurix Inc. - Handle trademarks, company names, logos and other intellectual property matters - Work closely with legal teams to protect and enforce Intellectual Property Right 3. Policy Development: - Assist in developing and implementing company policies - Contribute to institutionalizing start-up practices and ensuring legal compliance 4. Advisory Role: - Provide legal counsel and guidance on various matters especially in dealings with Indian and International clients - Advise on legal implications and risks associated with business decisions 5. Immigration and Visa Operations: - Handle sponsorship and operations related to work VISAs for selective individuals - Collaborate with our current US Immigration Law Firm for seamless Visa processes 6. Patent Management: - Work closely with our current Patent Law Firm for patent applications related to our novel technologies and features Qualifications: - Bachelor's/Master's of Laws (LLB) or equivalent degree - Admission to the relevant bar - Proven experience in contract law, corporate law, intellectual property law - Previous experience in a technology or start up environment is advantageous - Strong communications & negotiation skills Experience: - Experience in Zoho CRM - Knowledge of basic corporate law in United States - Basic understanding of the patent process Requirements: - We are seeking an individual who can contribute at a management level and be deeply involved in shaping company's future - The ideal candidate should bring energy and leadership to help grow a start-up. - The ability to institutionalize processes and provide direction to a young a dynamic is crucial.
