Job Description for Chief Financial Officer (CFO)


About the Company:

Portfolio of a SEBI registered private equity fund investing in mid-market businesses.

The Company is a service provider to cellular network players. It assists in mapping telecom signals for network rollouts and monitoring signals for maintenance.

It is one of India's leading companies in the RF planning and RF optimisation industry. Its business involves mapping telecom signals for network rollouts, and monitoring signals for maintenance. Its customers include mainly global OEMS such as Nokia, and Ericson as well as domestic telecom operators.

It is among the top 5 companies in India in this space.

It has a head office in Ahmedabad and a total team strength of ~500 people.

Job Activities: CFO Functions will primarily include:

- You will be based out of Ahmedabad.

- You will liaise with the CEO of the Company. You will work closely with Company to understand the operational aspect of the businesses, develop strategy and action plans for business growth.

- Your responsibilities would typically include overseeing the company's financial operations, managing financial planning and budgeting, monitoring cash flow, financial reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company's growth and profitability goals. Additionally, you might be involved in capital allocation decisions, investor relations, risk management, and optimizing the company's capital structure

- Focus on design, improvement and documentation of financial and operating processes.

- You will have an opportunity to get a strategic view of the entire business as you will be assisting the management on all its policy decisions relating to finance, HR, capex, new business initiatives and I.T.

- Research on new business prospects. This will involve analysing the industry, estimating investment and demand.

- Outstanding academics.

- Ability to think independently. Good analytical skills and good interpersonal skills.
