Role title : Business Continuity Senior Manager

- Guide the creation of the policy, template and methodology for Business Continuity Management Systems (BCMS). Oversee the maintenance, testing and implementation of the Business Continuity Program and ensure that at all levels within the organization understand that BCMS is a top management priority.

Key Responsibilities :

- Your role includes some or all of the following key responsibilities. You should review these in conjunction with career level guidelines to gain a clear understanding of the expectations for your role.

Overall :

- Direct and support the Business Continuity Management (BCM) program across business and functions as per the Accenture BCM policy and methodology

- Support the development of customized business continuity services to meet business requirements. Creation of new solutions and re-use/modification of existing solutions in support of Business Continuity Plans and services

- Supports the alignment of new clients and/or services to the business continuity program

- Liaise with Accenture business projects / functions to provide guidance on the development of business continuity plans

- Provide leadership and guidance for the sales response, and if required implementation, of non-standard requirements as appropriate

- Provide leadership and guidance to the business to comply to the business continuity policy

- Drives the project managers to ensure that all business continuity plans support contractual requirements

- Provides support to required assessments and tests related to the business continuity

- Act as a local subject matter expert to provide support and guidance in the development of the business continuity plan

- Lead BCM incident management activities within the crisis management processes and monitor and track implementation of lesson learned related to BCM

- Direct the development and maintenance of tools, templates, process, methodology and standardization for BCM and ensure that it is compliant with the industry standards

- Drive support of delivery teams to provide business continuity expertise to internal, external stakeholders and clients

- Handle client escalations and non-performance of business continuity program

- Ensure that the BCM strategy / program remains aligned to the business requirements

- Identify and assess the strategic and operational threats that pose a threat to the business continuity

- Leading business groups and support functions to maintain alignment of the business continuity planning to the business strategies

- Direct/lead team management activities (i.e. monthly touch points, 1:1 meetings, performance review and other people development activities)

- Effectively coach/counsel others and provide feedback to improve performance

- Improve team morale/engagement

- Maximize individual/team productivity to build or maintain a high quality team
