Accenture - Procurement Analytics

Role and Requirements:

Analytics Service Delivery

- Driving procurement cost reduction initiatives, conducting spend analytics, contract and compliance analytics, category profiling and opportunity identification, supply market assessment, cost modeling & financial analysis, procurement risk analysis and supplier performance assessment; across materials and services including commodities (as applicable)

- Data mining and data preparation, for ensuring data readiness for procurement analytics

- Develop an understanding the outsourced Procure to Pay processes and leverage strength in procurement fundamentals to identify opportunities for analytics based reporting to generate value-enhancing business insights for our clients

Professional and Academic Requirements:

- Masters / Bachelor's degree in engineering / business studies from Top Tier Institutes

- Minimum 3-6 years of experience across Industry, Consulting or Outsourcing organizations

- Candidates with hands-on experience in areas of procurement and/or spend analytics preferred

- Global experience / experience in working on geographically dispersed teams will be an advantage

- Experience and understanding of TCO concepts, spend and cost modeling / analytics in Procurement domain

- Expertise on / Understanding of Indirect sourcing categories and / or direct sourcing categories

- Knowledge and hands-on experience in extracting and preparing data for analysis

- Experience and understanding of sourcing and analytics tools such as Ariba, Emptoris, SAP MM/SRM desired. Additionally expertise in Excel & Access based modeling required.

- Strong business acumen and financials understanding
