Designation / Position : Client financial management Manager

Job Location(s) : Pune/Bangalore

SUMMARY High level overview :

- Manage the client financial management team on an engagement and work closely with the engagement partner to help maximize engagement profitability while complying with U.S. GAAP and adhering to Accenture Accounting and personnel policies and procedures with high quality standards

- Perform a business advisory support, manage client business case, manage corporate compliance and revenue recognition for contracts managed by your team

- Build relationship with engagement executives, contract management functions and all Client stakeholders

- Responsible for managing CFM resources that are providing financial services to many outsourcing or consulting deals

- Serve as an integral part of the engagement leadership team

Reports to : CFM Senior Manager, CFM Shared Services Team Lead or CFM Geographic Unit/Region Lead

Supervises : CFM Specialists, CFM Analysts and CFM Assistants

External Relationships : Engagement Partners and Executives, Unit Leads and Executives, Client Executives

Financial Skills and Competencies :

- Financial knowledge, knowledge of the firm policies and financial systems; Team management, strong supervisory skills, Ability to work with client and Accenture senior management, Strong analytical / operative skills, Time and project management skills, Customer service attitude, Business sense, Communication and interpersonal skills Negotiating skills, Advanced skills in MS Office software (in particular Excel and Access) and Lotus Notes databases, Demonstrated financial management expertise and expert knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), program/project management skills and experience; excellent analytical, organizational & multi-tasking skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, frequent interaction with senior management personnel, ability to organize, delegate and leverage resources to accomplish objectives, Ability to work with client and Accenture senior management; PC literate (i.e. working knowledge of MS Office Programs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Ensure engagement-level U.S. GAAP and local statutory compliance

- Supervise CFM team and manage service delivery

- Provide partner support in opportunity development by reviewing complex calculations

- Provide high-level support for all financial and contractual discussions with client

- Execute working capital management by ensuring client agreement to bill, and establishing and implementing appropriate debt follow-up

- Estimate inventory and receivables reserve requirements for engagement(s), monitor adequacy of inventory & receivables, perform asset management of all inventory & receivables, and explain anomalies

- Develop and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and engagement metrics, lead monthly financial reviews with partners and advise management in decision making

- Secure agreement on budgets, and on targets for KPI's for financial reporting

- Monitor engagement financial status and costs, perform financial forecasting and analysis, and produce financial reports

- Manage engagement financial records, as necessary, by understanding, explaining, and resolving major discrepancies that occur on the ledgers

- Ensure the quality and integrity of engagement financial records

- Identify and implement appropriate procedures to improve responsibility accounting and reporting

- Support CFM executives by leading cross-engagement tasks forces, as necessary

- Perform Quality and Service Reviews in the team, to continuously improve the quality of service delivery

- Conduct training sessions for senior management

- Support the CFM executives in scheduling and recruiting for CFM service delivery team

- Schedule CFM service delivery resources

- Set and supervise performance criteria for CFM service delivery team

- Recruit CFM service delivery team members, and train them

- Prepare and participate in CFM meetings & training sessions

- Work closely with client and engagement partners, Client Group Finance Leads (or equivalent), and other Finance Operations executives (statutory accounting)

Education : CA/ICWA/MBA-Finance

- Recommended Certifications, Licenses, etc

Work Experience : 12+ years of work experience

Work Requirements : Moderate travel may be involved.
