Accenture - International Accounting Specialist

We are looking for finance professionals with general accounting (GL accounting) experience with US GAAP knowledge.

Location:Pune

Shift timing: 3.00pm to 12 am

Job Description:

- Responsible for any Balance Sheet and P or L Component and handle accounting in accordance with US GAAP or local GAAP MIS and monitoring various day to day accounting processes with ability to manage the team.

- Communicate with the Stakeholders regarding discussions for taking corrective and preventive steps.

- Constantly look to add value by improving productivity through automations or process improvements

- Lead and Support the Team and supervise and overlook the team activities and provide support to the larger team Team.

- Communicate with the Stakeholders regarding discussions for taking corrective and preventive steps.

- Lead and Support the Revenue Assurance Team and supervise and overlook the RA Activities

- Monitoring team's day to day activities for the Controllership Processes

- To impart checks and balances in the day to day operations

- To manage internal or statutory audits and internal control evaluations

- To ensure that all the sarbox controls for the relevant processes are effective all the time

- To participate in the transitions of the accounting operations into AEE

- Prepare need based or regular reporting to clients or management or stakeholders

- To ensure smooth month end for all the processes under scope adhering to the global time lines

- Creating knowledge repositories and process documentations for the processes handled

- Responsible for the objective settings and performance management of the team.

- Perform team administration and human resource management according to Accenture policy and requirements - recruitment career development coaching mentoring and objective-setting.

- Guide or Coach new joiners and ensure a smooth integration into the team.

- Responsible to keep the attrition at minimum and engagement in high performing zone

- Open to work in staggered hours and working within or out of Pune Driving a culture of Delivery Excellence and moving up the maturity to be best in class Working with different stakeholders across time zones
