Accenture - Associate Principal - Research Scientist - Artificial Intelligence/NLP

We are looking for NLP & Text Analytics Experts with 5+ years of experience who can fulfill the following criteria.

Overall years of experience : 5-10 yrs.

NLP & Text Analytics experience : 3+ years

Overview :

- He/she will be part of Accenture Internal research lab leading the team that identifies and develops advanced analytics models and solutions for Accenture operations clients to improve various business outcome indicators.

- Objective of the team is to successfully develop Complex algorithms and bring cutting edge research to elevate the Accenture's ability to create value for clients in areas and through means not immediately apparent to clients.

The key aspects of this role are :

- Research and development of natural language processing algorithms.

- Have a strong understanding of Natural Language Processing and a genuine appreciation for NLP research.

- Demonstrate ability to create lexical semantic resources for NLP-based applications.

- Have experience to work both cooperatively and independently from remote locations and at various government customer sites.

- Demonstrated experience applying ontologies to NLP applications.

- Study various client processes, metrics and problems to identify key research areas

- Provide thought leadership on improving existing offerings through embedding analytics

- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders for complete life cycle of idea generation, development to deployment

- Understand the data from various sources and build models that can provide actionable insights

- Should be able to identify the inhibitors to a particular problem and then articulate the research area that doesn't just solve for inhibitors but alters the way things need to be done

- Build business case and get buy in from various stakeholders

- Help in estimating the cost of building production ready solutions.

Desired Skills and Experience :

Job Location : Bangalore

- Candidates should hold an MTech or MS or Phd in Computer Science, Mathematics, Applied Statistics, or related disciplines with an excellent academic record and practical experience with recent advances in mathematical & computational sciences and statistical modeling.

- Must have a strong understanding of one or more natural language processing techniques, knowledge-base or rule-based development, and programming experience in NLP-related technologies.

- Must have 3+ years experience in NLP.

- A solid grounding in applied statistics including expertise in at least one of the following is a must: Reliability models, Markov Models, Stochastic models, Bayesian modeling, classification models, cluster analysis, time series analysis, forecasting and multivariate statistics

- Should have prior experience in working in research lab

- Experience in building and deploying business relevant analytics assets

- Experience in bringing life to a business idea

- Experience in suggesting computer-based models for Business Outcome Indicator improvement

- Experience in real time analytics asset development & deployment

- Experience in Applied Machine learning

- Built various statistical models and machine learning tools to solve interesting Business problems.
