Responsibilities
- Analyzing the new projects received, understanding the client's requirements.
- Manages project schedules and scope
- Monitors authors, subject matter experts, and vendors in terms of meeting program requirements (scope), schedules, budgets, and quality
- Provides weekly or bi-weekly status updates for the clients.
- Interacting with the Clients on a continuous basis regarding the specifications of the projects, handling their queries, keeping them updated about the status of the current projects through live chats, emails and phones. (Customer Relations)
- Manage the work and quality of offshore/onshore editorial and production vendors
- Manage and maintain content development schedules, budgets, deadlines, project team meeting and schedules
- Communicate content product status and delivery dates to stakeholders and promptly address any related questions
- Supervise the generation of needed content development documentation for sales, product and marketing
Note:
- We only hire candidates from publishing and ed-tech industry
- Previous experience of SMEs management is required
- Someone who has managed the academic content creation projects
Skills required:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Acrobat Pro, Google applications, Smart sheet
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience managing content creators and confirming content quality.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
- Broad discipline experience and familiarity within publishing
- Workflow, Experience, Content Design and Development, Editorial Engagement, and fulfillment, Marketing and Customer Support.
