Abzooba - Manager - Project Manager - Data Science/Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence/Big Data

Requirements

- Bachelor degree preferably in the fields of engineering

- Data Science/Machine Learning/AI/Big data experience and professional background is mandatory.

- 4+ years of hands-on experience in machine learning projects with a team size of 5-10 resources.

- 4+ years of working experience as a project/program manager in the information technology sector. 2+ years of large team (team size above 15) handling experience is mandatory.

- Overall experience: 5 - 9 years

- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

- In-depth organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills

- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines with efficient prioritization of tasks / activities, etc.

- Proficiency using JIRA as a project management tool is must

- Experience using JIRA Confluence is preferable/good to have

- PMP Certification is PLUS

Responsibilities

- Ensure planning, monitoring, controlling and constantly measuring the plan and compare those metrics against the plan.

- Change management - Adjust resources to accommodate change

- Develop and implement project management standards (Using JIRA). Ensure that all the project members understand and follow existing standards and processes.

- Monitor, Measure and ensure mitigation of risks involving relevant stakeholders throughout the execution of the project

- Assist in the documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, estimates and work plans.

- Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of applications.

- Continuously improve project management methodologies (JIRA, Confluence). Provide expertise and consulting to project members especially in team dynamics, team building, group motivation, etc.

- Ensure sign-off on project scopes and objectives by involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility by tech leads.

- Show flexibility to respond to the changing needs of the business. Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects. Ensure resource availability and allocation

- Develop a detailed project plan to track progress. Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
