The candidate should be able to work well under the direct supervision and select from a variety of established procedures to accomplish assigned tasks. He/she will use advanced programming and analytical skills to solve a variety of problems. Qualifications: - Strong knowledge and experience in retail credit risk modeling like PD/LGD/EAD modeling - Deep statistical modeling and data mining competence, with exposure to applications in scoring, forecasting, recommendation systems, digital/ social media analytics. - Expertise in supervised/ unsupervised learning including ensemble methods (random forest/ gradient boosting classifiers), neural networks, collaborative filtering, network analysis, etc. Exposure to NLP/ text mining will be an added advantage. - Advanced degree required in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer or Data Science or related field. - Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas and analysis results effectively both verbally and in writing to both a technical and non-technical audience. - Strong exposure working with SAS and SAS Macros is required Programming Experience: - Required - SAS - Python - Unix Scripting Responsibilities: - Execute analytical or data intelligence projects, at times leading project from scoping and design through documentation and implementation including large-scale Hadoop deployments. - Perform exploratory data analysis to confirm data integrity and to derive appropriate analytical attributes. - Build preliminary statistical models - Create presentations demonstrating the effectiveness of solutions - Collaborate with clients to determine analysis and implementation requirements. - Interpret analysis results, identify trends and issues, and recommend alternatives to support business objectives. - Participate in the QA of variables and models for logic and specification accuracy and in support of the implementation of statistical models and other decision tools. - Support the sales, development, enhancement, or maintenance of analytical products or processes.
