- The Techno-Commercial Lead will serve as a bridge between the company's scientific innovations and their successful commercialization in the market.

Job responsibilities :

The core deliverables are to take our bio products to customers and maximize their commercial potential.

- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute the commercialization strategy for the company's biotechnology products and services. This includes defining target markets, pricing strategies, and go to market strategies.

- Commercialization Models: Assess and determine the most suitable commercialization model for the company's biotechnology products and innovations. This may involve making decisions about whether to license intellectual property (IP) to other companies or to retain ownership and commercialize products internally.

- Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify opportunities and assess market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform product development and marketing strategies.

- Product Development and Launch: Collaborate with R&D teams to ensure that products are developed with market demand in mind. Oversee product launch plans, including regulatory compliance and market access strategies.

- Sales and Marketing: Lead sales and marketing efforts to promote biotech products and services.

- Business Development: Identify potential partnerships, collaborations, and licensing opportunities to expand the company's reach and revenue streams.

- Market Access and Pricing: Develop pricing strategies that balance profitability with affordability for customers.

- Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success of commercialization efforts and make data-driven decisions.

- Compliance and Ethics: Ensure that all commercial activities adhere to ethical and legal standards.

- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with commercialization efforts, including market volatility, competitive pressures, and regulatory changes.

Qualifications :

- 8+ Years of experience in techno-commercial role.

- A strong background in biotechnology or a related field is essential.

- Strong business and commercial acumen is necessary. This involves skills in market analysis, pricing, and an understanding of the competitive landscape in the biotech sector.

- Effective communication skills are vital for this role. This includes the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders and customers.

- Proficiency in negotiation and deal-making can be valuable, as this role may involve negotiating contracts and agreements with clients, suppliers, and partners.

- The ability to quickly adapt to new technologies, industry trends, and changing customer demands is important in the fast-paced biotech sector.
