This position contributes to our success by fulfilling the key role of a contributor to the firm involving detail in and production of timely written work, taking pride in creative solutions that resolve contractual issues while protecting AbsolutData’s critical interests, and satisfy a conscientious bent by making recommendations based on research and analysis. The role will involve winning the confidence of leadership & colleagues with competent management of contracts and effective, regular communication about the status and progress of these.
- Prepare, review, and process legal documents, including license agreements, NDAs, and sundry other commercial arrangements.
- Communicate with various intra-company departments and external contacts (including customer procurement and legal counsel) to clarify and resolve contract issues.
- Maintain database of vendor contracts, maintain department file systems, and prepare and issue reports.
- Ability to coordinate between multiple stakeholders and consistently iterate and fine tune deliverables within stringent timelines.
- Examine legal documents to assure that all necessary legal steps and points have been covered, and that all legal deadlines and due process requirements are met.
- Advise leadership of upcoming commitments and special items needing their attention; organize documents and information.
- Ability to work in a highly fast paced environment against tight deadlines and multiple deliverables.
- Transcribe type and distribute letters, contracts, reports and memoranda including materials of a confidential nature independently or from oral written instructions; take notes quickly and accurately.
- Compose, prepare and type a variety of legal documents including professional service agreements, contracts, labor agreements, request for bids, request for proposals, and correspondence using word processing hardware and software.
- Proofread legal documents and correspondence to ensure correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, sentence structure, legal terminology and format.
- Arrange for recording, filing and service of legal documents.
- Perform related duties as assigned
- Law Graduate with a preferred Masters Degree in International Corporate Law.
- Prior experience in a similar role for a minimum of three to four years preferably in a BPO or KPO or Consultative environment.
- Technical skills required include MS Office.
Qualification -
- Law Graduate with a preferred Masters Degree in International Corporate Law.
Work exp required -
- Minimum of four years of experience in a similar role and a minimum of six years of overall experience.
