ABP Group - Data Scientist

ABP Digital is looking for a Data Scientist that will help us build personalized recommendation enginefor news consumers.

Your primary focus will be in applying data mining techniques, doing statistical analysis, and building high quality prediction systems integrated with our products.

Responsibilities:

- Research, design and implement state-of-the-art ML systems using predictive modeling, deep learning, collaborative filtering and other ML techniques to help meeting business objectives

- Handle Big Data scale for training and deploying ML based business modules.

- Extending company's data with third party sources of information when needed

- Enhancing data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems

Desired profile:

- Engineer from Tier I institute

- 4 -7 years of proven experience in machine learning and data science

- Experience with designing machine learning systems from scratch preferably in one of our core focus areas viz. recommendations, personalization, predictive modeling, deep learning or natural language processing.

- Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests, etc.

- Experience with common data science toolkits, such as R, Python, Weka, NumPy, MatLab, etc

- Strong scripting and programming skills
