Position Overview:Customer Analytics & Business Intelligence Lead

ABP group is seeking a Customer Analytics and Business Intelligence Lead for ABPWeddings.com based at Kolkata. This individual would be setting up a digital analytics vertical and driving the analytics agenda ahead for ABPWeddings.

Responsibilities:

- Identify opportunity areas for data science use cases specifically in segmentation, propensity algorithms, image processing/computer vision

- Use machine learning, data mining and statistical techniques to create new, scalable solutions for business problems

- Analyse and extract relevant information from large amounts of historical business data to help automate and optimize key processes

- Advocate analytics and drive a culture around data based decision making

- Train junior team members and other teams to drive analytics agenda

- Customer targeting and retention strategies

- Provide a holistic view of the consumer journey across platforms

Skill sets/ Competencies:

- Ability to drive insight from that data, assess the commercial / financial impact and recommend action

- Understanding of statistical methods to enable appropriate interpretation of results

- Experience analyzing programs through the lens of brand / customer engagement metrics as well as business mindset

- Strong organizational skills &the ability to prioritize and work on projects with great efficiency &attention to detail

- Conceptual thinking and ability to find innovative ways to solve analytical problems

Experience:

- 4-8 years of experience in Machine Learning, data science.

- Good to have exposure on computer vision

- Excellent coding skills R or Python or Weka or Java

Education:

- Degree in a quantitative subject such as Engineering, Mathematics, Operations Research, Statistics
