Role and Responsibilities:

- Lead the intercity department

- Manage a team of 6-8 people

- Manage day-to-day intercity operations

- Identifying and building relations with clients who require inter-city transportation in temperature-controlled vehicles

- Understanding client requirements and planning vehicles' placement

- Ensuring transportation of goods from source to destination at right time in the right condition

- Planning return loads, optimizing vehicle utilization and deciding freight for various lanes.

Required skills/experience:

- Min 4-5 years of experience managing logistics and supply chain (FMCG industry preferred)

- High energy and ownership

- Excellent people management skills

- Prior warehousing experience required

- A strong balance of planning and hustling

- Should be able to roll up their sleeves to get the job done when required
