The Role: 1. Manage Day-to-day Operations: - Manage the City Warehouse Operations of one city - Warehouse Operations or Local City Distribution Operations - Supervising and Managing Warehouse Operations: Coordinating with the warehouse supervisors and labourers for execution of work, handling of dispatches, performing quality checks from time to time, sending reports to the senior team - Supervising and Managing Local City Distribution Operations: Route planning, coordinating with drivers and helpers, sending vehicle status updates to the clients, keeping a log-book for all the local movements, preparing monthly reports of all the vehicles and sending it to the senior team - Supervising and Managing Ad-hoc Reefer Service: Collecting orders from clients for additional support services, preparation of LR Note, sending out invoices to customers after successful deliveries - Managing Documentation - keeping record of all the Invoices, LRs, Delivery Proofs and organizing them systematically for reconciliation purpose - Establish Long term relationship with the clients and follow up with them for any iterations if required 2. Innovation and implementation of new ideas and processes: - Look back and analyze the ongoing operations, warehouse or local city distribution - Optimise the existing plans and strive for a more efficient and cost optimised operations structure - Re-negotiating prices with existing transport partners
