In addition, with increasing consumer awareness and competition, manufacturers need cold chain as a key differentiator for their products.  We work with select existing cold storage and reefer owners. With the AbleCold Operating System and use of smart technology, we streamline operations to improve service standards while maintaining costs. Our innovative business model - asset-light, tech-enabled, integrated SC management - enables us to have higher service reliability, customized solutions and faster access to markets than existing players.  We are currently building the AbleCold core team for pilot operations in Bangalore.  About the Founder:  Abhay Kothari, Founder of AbleCold Logistics, is a chemical engineer from IIT Kanpur and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He has worked in operations, strategy and business development with Fortune 500 companies and startups in India and USA. Over the past 12 years, he has acquired a unique set of experience ranging from hands-on operations and quality management at HUL, to strategy development for C-suite executives at Fortune 100 companies (USA), to building and scaling a business at Treebo Hotels.  Job Description :  The city logistics head will be part of the core team and will work directly with the founder. He / She will be responsible for setting up and managing the Bangalore logistics operations for AbleCold. Key responsibilities:  1. Develop AbleCold's intra-city logistics network - develop a network of last-mile partners, evaluate multiple reefer technologies and identify best fit for different operations/customer requirements, develop and implement service contracts, onboard, and train partners/drivers  2. Implement AbleCold Operating System for intra-city distribution - define SOPs, KPIs and develop performance management systems, identify and deploy technology solutions to improve productivity, service levels and optimize costs  3. Manage and continuously improve daily operations - ensure on-time in-full deliveries, ensure temperature control, monitor and ensure daily compliance to SOPs in last mile deliveries  4. Manage and improve last mile customer experience  As part of the core team, the city logistics head would also get an exposure to and would be expected to contribute actively in shaping other aspects of the operations and the business.   Required skills / competencies / experience:  1. High energy individuals excited about building a business from scratch  2. 4-8 years of experience managing and building intra-city B2B logistics operations, including forecasting and planning, data analytics and managing MIS reports.  3. Prior cold chain and startup experience preferred  4. Self-starter with a strong execution bias and customer focus.   5. Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.   6. Strong negotiation skills.   7. Good communication skills.  Education requirements: Undergraduate in Engineering or Post graduate in supply chain or relevant field  Salary: At-market compensations with equity
