1. PURPOSE OF ROLE The Global Excellence Program Manager is responsible for running the Solutions Excellence Program from a global perspective. The Excellence Program (EP) is a global best practice sharing program aimed at increasing operational excellence. The EP manager owns the execution of the program across solutions, taking the strategic goals from the Steering Committee, and leading the creation of the annual handbook. From there, the EP Manager ensures that there is visibility to performance metrics in the program throughout the year, works with the pillar teams to communicate standards and best practices, and leads the twice-annual audits of the zone self-assessments. 2. KEY TASKS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES - Coordinate the publishing of the annual program handbook, working with the Pillar Owners and other EP leads to collect the content and review it for quality (readability and completeness). - Help prepare the deck for the monthly EP Steering Committee Meeting - Help ensure quality interactions with all zones occur in the monthly Pillar calls - Ensure comparable metrics and measurement between zones - Provide visibility of the performance indicators (Results & Means) in a central dashboard - Coordinate the global self-assessment & audit process, and assess the annual zone target scores - Provide visibility of issues for Sr. Leadership - Guide the implementation of the Solutions Management System & EP for GHQ (especially GCC) 3. BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT - Solutions is represented in a global headquarters (GHQ) and 9 Zones. Zones are geographical hubs for the countries located within their geographical region. The Zones support all their countries in demand and deployments and are an interface to the GHQ teams for global program deployment. Operations for the zones and global fit into a network of centers, where some services are performed in zone centers, and other services are centralized into regional and global hubs, most significantly the GCC in India. - There are Excellence Programs (EPs) in most functions of ABI (Sales, Finance, People, etc), and we partner with those programs to share goals and methods with those teams, to keep our processes and targets aligned. The EP manager will work with the leads of other Functional EPs to maintain and strengthen our partnerships with them. - The EP Mangers will work with multiple stakeholders, including the Solutions GHQ department leaders, the zone Solutions teams, and external function leads. - We also want to be aware of and learn from external-industry trends and best practices. 4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS - 7+ years of Operational/Business/IT experience. Well-rounded experiences in different business areas are a plus, but successful EP Managers have come from many different backgrounds. - As the Excellence Program is a unique AB InBev best practices program, internal experience working with an ABI Excellence Program in Solutions or other function (Finance, Supply/VPO, etc.) is a plus. Level of educational attainment required: - Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred. An MBA is an advantage. - Lean Six Sigma and/or Green/Black Belt training is an advantage. Personal attributes required: - Experience in working in a multi-national / multi-cultural / multi-time zone environment - Proven ability to work under pressure against tight & dynamic deadlines, by prioritizing & delivering - Strong analytical and independent problem-solving skills are required - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as stakeholder management skills - Ability to work in senior executive settings and with confidential topics - Indirect influence skills are also very important - the EP manager will need to coordinate the work of people with whom they do not have a direct reporting relationship - Should be skilled in organizing information and developing executive dashboards, and presenting to a range of audiences using a variety of mediums - Attention to detail is very important in this role, as work output will be seen by large audiences. Language skills required: - Strong verbal and written English language skills required. Multiple languages, (especially Portuguese and/or Spanish), is a plus. IT skills required: - Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) is required. - Experience creating reports in BI tools (Qlikview, PowerBI, etc.) is an advantage. 5.
