Fund Manager- AIF CAT 2 Responsibilities: The incumbent should manage the investment banking function which encompasses the following : - Experience in raising and investing in equity capital as an AIF Category II professional - Experience of end to end deal evaluation in private equity space - Supporting our multiple businesses across industries and preparing pitch books, valuation models, industry reports, company focused discussion documents, studying & analyzing different business & financial models in a particular industry - Managing delivery & execution of projects on Buy and sell-side, including capital market updates, newsletters, shareholder/ownership analysis, IPO analysis, new issuance analysis, company profiles, etc. - Deal origination, proactive sourcing, market studies - Modeling and valuation of investment opportunities - Assisting in all aspects of deal execution including market and financial due diligence, structuring, and contract negotiation - Monitoring of portfolio companies and executing value creation plan - Represent Smile Invest on the board of directors or supervisory board of portfolio companies Qualifications: - 7 to 10 years of work experience in private equity, corporate finance, or strategy consulting, preferably with solid financial modeling and valuation expertise - Master's degree in engineering or economics & finance with excellent academic credentials - Well-organized, detail-oriented, ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines - Strong business and investment acumen - Excellent written and verbal communication skills Personality: - Entrepreneurial, takes own initiative - Positive attitude, driven - Team player who shows leadership - Integrity & honesty
