Responsibilities : - As a Base Metals Trader, the task will be to structure, price, trade and manage positions on Base Metals (Ni, Al, Cu, Zn, Pb) in order to exploit and develop the business in a risk-controlled, capital-efficient, and cost-effective manner - Responsible for effectively market-making, managing risk, and keeping the Team informed of current risk positions, being up to date with the rules and regulations of the markets and exchanges in which you trade, and ensuring an accurate mark-to-market of the trading book at all times. - Typical activities will include activity in and monitoring of current market levels and competitor pricing, marking the trading books and making available such market data across the Commodity platform, reconcile and ensure accuracy of Risk and Profit &amp; Loss figures on a daily basis - Moreover, you will need to develop technical, market; product, and technological expertise in a fashion consistent with the strategic aims of the business and coordinate projects, monitor performance against objectives and ensure timely delivery. Candidate Must Have Experience in Base Metal trading in Southeast Asia Market. - A successful candidate should expect to be involved in trading, shipping, and storing physical cargoes; provide commercial input into investment plans; know how to work in both physical and paper markets; be able to use the latest sophisticated risk management techniques and to utilize world-class systems, while exploring new and innovative tools and technology. Qualifications : - Must have experience in import and Physical trading of Base metals in China Market - 10-15 years of experience in physical trading for Base Metals - Graduate/Post-Graduates (B.tech/MBA/MS) in a quantitative field from a recognized Institute - Exposure to risk assessment and reporting for Base Metals
