Purpose of the Role - The Solutions Analytics Manager - Descriptive &amp; Diagnostic's (D&amp;D) is constantly pushing the boundaries of the application of Descriptive and Diagnostic Analytics, providing unparalleled visibility of the organization and underlying drivers. This role's primary responsibility is to provide descriptive and diagnostic insights and capability to the organization. The Analytics D&amp;D Manager has an holistic overview of the organization and can provide driver analysis to route causes across all functions. - By working closely with our business partners this role will build a Zone community around the possibilities that visual data analytics and storyboarding can produce. By knowing and intensely engaging the visual data analytics community, this role will bring to our business - cutting-edge- technology centered around data-self- discovery and visual data analytics. - The responsibilities of the Solutions Analytics Manager - Descriptive &amp; Diagnostics, will not only span Descriptive Analytics which in essence only describes the data in a visual form, but also Diagnostic Analytics, diagnosing the underlying reason and drivers for the description of the data. - The Solutions Analytics Manager - Descriptive &amp; Diagnostic's will build an visual analytics capability within the organization by being both responsible for static reporting and traditional BI to advanced data visualization and cutting edge data story telling. The Solutions Analytics Manager - Descriptive &amp; Diagnostic's Software will apply visual data analytics throughout the value chain of the business in new and innovative ways never before realized. - The Solutions Analytics Manager - Descriptive &amp; Diagnostic's will not only explore and drive trends in all battlegrounds related to descriptive and diagnostics analytics, but also provide a strategic view of where the technology is progressing in future. The role is the single point of authority in the Zone on Descriptive &amp; Diagnostics Analytics and educates/ drives this technology into the business providing competitive advantage. Areas of Responsibility -&nbsp; 1. World class, breakthrough visual Analytics: Focus on providing the business unparalleled visibility and decision support capability through Data and Reporting 2. Unstoppable reporting Accuracy and stability: Ensure that Analytics, Dashboarding and reporting is always accurate, stable and provide actionable insights 3. Global leadership in Analytics: Drive the Global Analytics and Zone community to deep-dive driver analytisis at every opportunity and provide leadership in visual analytics to the community 4. Through-the-line visibility: Provide world class data storyboarding and data narratives to the business- allowing them to make informed and fact/data based decisions Requirements -&nbsp; Bachelor Level or higher in any of the following disciplines: - Computer Science - Software Engineering - Electronic Engineering - Experience in all of most out of: Tableau, QlikSence, PowerBI, QlikView - Experience in ETL (Extract Transform Load) will be an advantage - Understanding of Data and Visualisation platforms and applications - both cloud and local implementations - Experience in Visual storyboarding and building data narratives - Experience in and knowledge of data modelling - Understanding of the application areas of Visual Data Analytics and Data Self-Discovery, &amp; Complex problem solving using first principles and the application of disruptive software.
