Job Title: Cyber Security Specialist - Supply Networks

Reporting to: Sr. SOC Operations Manager

1. PURPOSE OF ROLE

- Security monitoring and Incident Handling (end to end management) based on the alerts being generated via the supply security platforms.

- Cyber Security Platform management, administration and ownership.

- Work within the current security operations centre to support internal user base across supply and manufacturing areas and ensure service delivery in line with industry best practices.

- Work with the automation and the development team to draw application and alerts use cases for operational efficiency.

2. KEY TASKS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Provide insights and oversight to the development and implementation of Cyber aspects of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Industrial Control Systems (ICS), Critical Infrastructure Risk Management (CIRM), Cybersecurity risk management, and equivalent current and emerging subject areas.

- Focal point for all issues related to security of OT network.

- Establish procedures for periodic review of security event management system and proactively initiate corrective actions.

- Identify, align and implement opportunities for improving ICS network security.

- Familiar with various industrial automation systems such as DCS, PLC etc.

- Incident-response skills in a control system environment.

- Develop recommendations, standards and procedures on the implementation and improvement where needed.

- Perform engineering level network analysis & simulation.

- Be part and work closely with the SOC operations teams to integrate the device logs with SIEM tool.

- Interface with the project teams during the service transition stage for inducting new services or platforms in to BAU operations.

- Responsibility for continuous operational process improvements and knowledge management.

3. BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT

Challenges:

- Clearly communicate security planning and technology issues verbally on both a formal and informal basis to leadership and security teams.

- Ability to oversee vendor deployments and lead assigned initiatives effectively.

- Exceptional communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain good vendor & client relationships.

- Ability to manage challenging priorities in a rapidly growing, fast- paced, interactive, results-based team environment.

- Troubleshoot and resolve installation conflicts, incompatibilities and other Control Systems related problems

- Work with the Zones, SOC teams, Vendors to ensure the correct level of hardware and software are included to minimize internal and external threats.

Evaluation Criteria:

- Consistent, timely and high-quality reporting.

- Successful pilot and implementation of Security modules and Control system monitoring

- Periodic, accurate documentations and recording of the implementation.

4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS

Level of educational attainment required:

- B. Tech / MCA from a reputable institute in Computer Sciences, IIT/NIT preferred.

Previous work experience required:

- Overall 7-10 years of experience in IT and cyber security preferably from CPG / Industrial domain.

- At least 2- 3 years of experience in basic handling and monitoring of SCADA and ICS systems. (Negotiable).

- Strong experience in IT Security incident handling and management process.

- Experience in working with global functions and teams in a 24x7 operations.

Language skills required:

- English (Fluent)

IT skills required:

- GIAC, GRID and CISSP or Equivalent certification is a MUST (non-negotiable).

- Microsoft Office (mandatory, including proficiency in excel and power point)

- ITIL V3 would be an added advantage.

Travel - Should be open to travel as and when needed.
