Manager - Hedge & Derivative Specialist (AB InBev Global Capability Center) Hybrid
Reporting to : Senior Manager
Purpose of the Role :
- Oversee the team of 3-5 people
- Run and analyze accounting entries for financial instruments, such as bonds, intercompany loans and derivatives in light of IFRS 9;
- Execute and master all the activities related to the area of hedge accounting.
- Prepare various statistical reports;
- Execute monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities in line with the group procedures and the implemented SOX controls
- Assist the teams based in UK, Luxembourg and Belgium with analysis of P/L, B/S and cash flows of the holding companies including the analysis of the hedge accounting lines
- Work on ad-hoc projects to streamline our reporting processes and improve the level of our controls.
HERE IS WHAT AN ORDINARY DAY AT WORK WILL LOOK LIKE :
- Mainly to work and transform on Hedging, Derivatives, Investments, and all Dividend related in overall GHQ Holding companies
- Make sure monthly governance calls and KPI management is properly reported
- Act as first point of escalation and RCA with action points
- Preparing financial reports along with Evaluating the financial data
- Streamlining accounting functions and operations
- Evaluating and guiding financial risk
- Coordinating with team to meet their SLA and deliverable on time
- Ensuring prompt and accurate month- end and year-end close processes
- Monitoring the Internal Controls, assistance audit requirements, MICS related to financial reconciliation
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the books and records
- Review bank reconciliations - reconciliation of the bank statement against the GL and reconciliation of any assigned clearing accounts
- Ensure clearing of wait accounts are done on a properly manner and on timely basis
- Reply to audit inquiries in a timely manner; as required, align with team working closely with banks to clarify valuation details on the bank statements to reconcile activity or properly code it
- Automation of the process to improve the overall efficiency
- Review and collect approvals on monthly manual journal entries and accruals posted
- Work closely with the dealers on making the deals verified and recorded in books
BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT :
Main characteristics :
- Be a Manager to all treasury control related activities
- Build effective relationship with the key stakeholders & address their concerns during daily, weekly, monthly reporting cycle
- Work in close contact with Business Operations.
