The company was incorporated in 2011 as Au Housing Finance Private Limited and started operation in 2012. In March, 2017, the name of the company was changed from "Au HOUSING FINANCE LIMITED to AAVAS FINANCIERS LIMITED" (AAVAS).

Company has now become a leader in the segment it operates in. Total asset under management is Rs 3200 Cr + and is growing at a rate of 50% + in topline and in bottom-line.

Designation: Senior Data Scientist

Minimum Qualification: MA/MS - Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Operational Research

B.Tech/M.Tech - Computer Science, Electrical /Electronics, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics

Desired Candidate Profile:

- 6 - 10 years of relevant Experience in Data Science and various models

- An ideal candidate would have great quantitative problem-solving skills, financial analytical skills, the ability & confidence to hack their way out of tight corners

- Ability to perform end-end business analysis

- Preference would be given to candidates with prior work experience in Financial sector

- Strong communication, self-motivated and a team player

Job Description:

- Provide thought leadership around advanced analytics / machine learning techniques

- Mentor, Guide and Train the team

- Liase with the senior management / stakeholder to understand the business requirements and manage expectations

- Conceptualize, design and deliver high-quality solutions and insightful analysis on a variety of projects ranging in both complexity and scope

- Research and innovation; requirements gathering; solution scoping and architecture; providing advanced statistical and machine learning solutions to different business functions

- Proficiency in translating business requirements into analytical framework

- Strong technical knowledge in Machine Learning algorithms, Deep Learning Algorithms and Advanced Analytics tools and techniques

- Proficiency in multiple analytical methods like linear & logistic regression, Decision Tree, Time Series, Segmentation and Profiling, Cluster Analysis, Data reduction methods - FA/PCA, Random forest, Neural Network, Bayesian Networks, SVM, Gradient Boosting, Ensemble Models etc.

Location: Jaipur / Noida (Candidates opting for Noida location will have spent 6 month at Jaipur HQ at the beginning)
