Aakash Institute - Business Analyst - BI & Analytics

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Participate in the development of strategies, roadmaps and business cases for Analytics and BI solutions

- Asses and document analytics needs in different units of business.

- Develop design for solution (data model, data capture, extraction, reporting) and specification

- Participate in the full lifecycle of an analytics or BI project: from gathering and understanding the end-user needs, over functional design, architecting the solution, supervising the detailed technical design and implementation, to preparing and executing the functional and product tests before handover.

- Acts as a liaison between departmental end-users, technical analysts, information technology analysts in the analysis, design, configuration, testing and maintenance of assigned system development and maintenance.

- Tracks and documents changes for functional and business specifications; writes detailed procedures for records and for use in training.

- Identifies opportunities for improving business processes through information systems and/or non-system driver changes

- Researches and prepares statistical reports using data from court computer systems and internal surveys. Consolidates information into cohesive and understandable correspondence or other written form for use in management decision making.

- Assists in developing an overall change management strategy for the court.

- Conducts change impact analysis to assess the potential implications of changes and documents court business rules, functions and requirements.

- Maintains wizard-driver configuration tables in the case management system(s).

- Participates in user acceptance testing and testing of new system functionality.

- Provides technical assistance in training, mentoring, and coaching professional and technical staff.
