About the Department   The Marketing department helps us leverage online and offline channels to build brand and create leads for our businesses. Our marketing Ninjas obsess over growth and use data to back their decisions. Simultaneously creative and analytical, this department is the custodian of our brand and member communication.  About the Position  The Head of Marketing would oversee the entire marketing strategy for the organization - both online and offline. To be a perfect fit for this position, you should have an entrepreneurial bent of mind and should be able to blend creative thinking with quantitative analysis to drive customer acquisition. You will use data extensively to improve our outreach, define standards for our communication and curate (and at times create!) impactful content across social channels to improve engagement levels. Although you will be leading a team, we will expect you to be deeply hands-on - you should still enjoy writing a blog, or create dashboards analyzing channel efficiency yourself. You should also be creative enough to think of interesting & productive marketing hacks and not necessarily go by the conventional methods.  Key Responsibilities:  - Shape and drive the marketing strategy of 91s in order to drive customer acquisition and branding  - Focus on our online presence and impact in order to drive month-on-month improvement in our organic search visits and leads  - Coach and mentor our marketing team to achieve objectives, grow and learn constantly and drive efficiency.  - Work closely with the Sales department in order to understand, analyze and ultimately improve our conversion funnel.  - Create impactful content that drives recall for 91s across a diverse range of social channels including blogs, websites, communities etc.  - Build in house capability to the extent required for executing our business objectives. Supplement with scalable and high output partners where required.  Skills & Behavior Required  - Prior experience in making data-driven marketing decisions using A/B testing, and multivariate experiments.  - Excellent knowledge of digital channels and metrics/ interventions that drive performance including SEO/ SEM, Google Analytics, e-mail and Mobile campaigns.  - Prior team handling experience  - Extremely tech savvy to leverage and utilize new technologies which can drive customer acquisition and optimize cost per lead.  - Ability to work in a growth environment, deal with ambiguity and manage expectations from multiple C-Suite stakeholders.  Years of Experience:  An ideal candidate should have 5 - 10 years of work experience, including 4+ years of experience in leading the marketing for a business/ product/ function.  Prior experience of working with startups focused on B2B/small business is an added bonus.  Education:  Required Post Graduation in Marketing/ Media/ Business. Google certifications in Adwords/ Analytics strongly preferred.
