About the job:

Job Purpose:

The role will support the Global Strategy Team in identifying M&A opportunities, evaluate various investment opportunities, lead the transaction process / deal negotiation and support strategic initiatives for enabling and facilitating group level decisions

Job Description:

- Assist in developing, establishing and implementing the M&A and various Investment strategy of the group

- Engage with bankers and intermediaries for identifying M&A opportunities

- Lead the diligence, structuring, deal negotiation and closing of transaction

- Prepare investment proposal for investment committee and board

- Coordinate with financial advisors, legal counsel and 3rd parties for transaction related activities

- Help in review of synergy performance and business plan of acquired entities

- Manage strategic initiatives assigned from time to time which will facilitate in strategic decision making at Group Level

Competencies :

- High analytical ability and good communication skills

- Interpersonal skill & ability to work in teams

- Advanced level skills in Microsoft Office including presentation skills

Requirements :

- MBA from a premier management institute

- Minimum 10-15 years of relevant experience working in a Conglomerate /large organization in the areas of Strategy, Investments and M&A
