3F Oil Palm - Plantation Management

- 3F Oil Palm is the Oil Palm Division of the 3F Group. It is involved in development of oil palm plantation through contract farming, crude palm and oil kernel oil mills, palm-waste based power plant in 7 states across India.

- The RM will be heading the entire operations of nursery management, expansion of area under oil palm plantation, and crop management.

- The Regional Manager will have overall strategic and operational responsibility of their region (North East) He/she should be able to prepare and implement an Annual Operating Plan [AOP] of the region with necessary budgetary estimates.

- 3FOP has undertaken a mission to become a billion dollar company by 2030; the key growth driver of this growth trajectory is increasing quality area under palm oil production. The RM needs to showcase superior management and team building skills to set in place a solid team even at the field level. He/she is expected to provide strategic Leadership and Operational excellence whilst exhibiting excellent teambuilding/ management skills.

- The RM needs to device innovative ways to empower his team (including State heads, field staff etc) to convince farmers to grow palm oil, and through this process, meet rigorous monthly targets.

- He/She will also be involved in setting such targets and should be able to initiate corrective measures to ensure overall target achievement of area extension.

- He/She is responsible to institute an effective review mechanism to assess individual/team performances with respect to defined targets of area extension. He/she would also require conducting necessary training/awareness sessions to the Field Operations teams/Farmers on best practices in Crop Management/Grading/Harvesting etc, and should provide innovative and cost effective measures for all related operations.

- We are in the process of incorporating technology in the form of remote sensing, water table mapping, SAP etc in order to facilitate superior people management, area expansion and crop management. The RM will be responsible for overlooking smooth implementation in his region.

- He/she is expected to provide necessary direction to Nursery Operations and Crop Management, including FFB Collection, transporting to mill etc.

- Computer knowledge with analytical skills is must for this position. Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi languages is essential.

Salary Range: 10 - 12 LPA
