About the role:

As an Associate Director (AD) you assume a great deal of responsibility to lead delivery teams of strength 12-20 in 1Lattice in Financial Investors vertical. This is an enriching role that involves guiding the research process and generating insights that help an investor make an investment decision. You will typically lead three to five projects in parallel, have full ownership of the deliverables and assume leadership roles on your team - as such, your team's successes also enhance your own personal results story.

Exposed to mid to senior level Private Equity and Venture Capital executives and leading client interactions with them, Associate Director / Director plays a significant role in influencing their thinking and moving clients to action. You not only provide answers to client questions and detail their strategic implications, but you will also play a very meaningful leadership role internally. You will support the 1Lattice culture by motivating your colleagues and helping the team members under you to grow professionally. You will be responsible for the client satisfaction and the team happiness.

As a Associate Director, you will also be managing some key account relationships and undertaking business development activities to grow 1Lattice business in these accounts.

Roles and responsibilities:

- End to end ownership of project delivery leading high impact teams

- Driving thought leadership in projects and coming up with compelling approaches, frameworks, and solutions to client problems

- Driving high quality research and analysis by teams

- Leading and delivering high quality client presentations in projects

- Managing scope and delivery of projects leading to overall client satisfaction

- Understanding the client requirements and then customizing the project scope as per their needs

- Maintaining relationships with existing clients

- Lead project delivery and manage delivery teams to drive customer wow and delight.

- Play active part in recruitment and build project delivery teams in your department

Competencies and skills:

- Proven experience in Business Research and Consulting, minimum 8+ years leading and managing the team in research or consulting domain.

- Expertise in primary and secondary research methodologies and experienced in developing market-based research.

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

- Strong ability to research, data collection, and analysis.

- Excellent communication and client management skills.

- Ability to understand client's needs and developing trusted relationships.

- Demonstrated ability to execute/project manage large-scale research projects from beginning to completion.

- Understanding of the consulting and research market types of offerings.

- Ability to create impactful proposals for specific projects with a tailored approach, and then present to PE/VC clients.

- Ability to workplan, define scope and approach for assignments.

- Ability to manage multiple projects at a time, and a strong orientation to planning work and driving work with efficiency.

Educational qualification and Certifications:

- Consistent track record of academic excellence - at least an MBA degree from a Tier 1 college.

- Demonstration of leadership in educational and professional career. Experience in secondary and primary research of 5yrs+ is a must.

- Very high drive and energy.

- Clear, confident and articulate presentation skills.
