We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset and a proven ability to work with large datasets.

We collect and analyze large amounts of data ranging from market prices, capacity awards, generation profiles, asset operations etc. on a day-to-day basis for battery storage analytics and optimization. We keep track of the existing and upcoming market participation rules of the global wholesale electricity market from the point of view of battery storage and renewable projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze large datasets using Python and/or Excel, identify patterns and trends in data to inform business decisions

- Perform quantitative analysis that combines technical considerations, economic factors, market rules and constraints, and regulatory/policy developments around battery storage and renewable projects

- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and effective manner

- Support the team in solving complex data and business problems

Qualifications:

- Prior knowledge of, or strong interest in learning about wholesale electricity markets

- Excellent quantitative analytical skills, including the ability to rapidly gather actionable intelligence from large datasets using Excel and/or Python or other tools

- Strong interpersonal skills, teamwork skills, and work ethic

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and solve problems with minimal supervision

- Excellent organizational skills and professional presentation

- Passion for renewables, climate issues, and the clean energy transition

Must Have a Bachelors or Masters from a Top Ranked Engineering college
