Description  The Supply Chain Head would be responsible for spearheading the Pan India supply chain strategy and operations function.  Responsibilities  The job responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to  Strategy & Operations  - The Head of Supply Chain at ShopX would be required to manage the entire end to end warehouse, supply chain and logistics operations across the country and to ensure a robust & sustainable supply chain operations model to exceed market efficiency standards; ultimately building a world class supply chain eventually capable of handling movement of millions of parcels throughout the country.  - Handle and define Logistics & fulfilment operations from first mile to the last mile.  - To be responsible to handle 3PL partners, warehouse partners, air & surface logistics - both conventional & new age.  - To ensure the cost optimization functionality in all supply chain related processes.  - To be responsible to spearhead the entire supply chain operations, strategy, analytics & other support functions and to mentor & closely monitor the performance levels of all direct and indirect reporting team members.  - To optimize the supply chain functionality to exceed set standards in the areas of delivery time lines, stock availability and forecast, ordering and packaging process and quality checks & assurance  - To develop, direct and effectively execute the supply chain life cycle & methodology, forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes used within the supply chain function - tailor made to align to the diverse geographies.  Process Re-engineering  - Research and identify market trends and new/existing players that provide basis for continued process and accuracy enhancement. To meet key industry personnel to understand market trends, competitor's activities and continuously search for new opportunities to improve business.  - Participate in various internal projects and contribute insights from a supply chain function perspective and effectively execute the support function requirements.  - Monitor the accuracy and efficient distribution of supply chain related reports and other intelligence essential to the organization.
