Learning & Development (70%) - Provide detailed learning needs analysis when required to identify and summarize competency gaps and what learning interventions can enable the closing of these gaps. - Design and develop new (in-house) offerings and training materials and roll out of these programs - Develop and run training pilots and adjust training if appropriate - Curate content as well as apply the new and modern learning methods on a continuous basis. - Define effective metrics for the development initiatives to ensure strategic objectives are met - Demonstrate outstanding interpersonal skills to facilitate the classes across levels - Ability to support 1-1 coaching and coaching for larger groups/forums - Ability to work with, and effectively manage, external vendors to support the delivery of the development agenda - Awareness of leading-edge technology trends within the learning environment Engagement (30%) - Create opportunities for employees to interact with our community, through volunteerism and sponsorship opportunities. - Drive employee engagement through onboarding, employee recognition, and training. - Develop a calendar of events and engagement activities - monthly, quarterly events - Assist with all pre/on-site/post event details by monitoring activities at each event, addressing concerns and resolving problems to ensure event success - Track project costs; reconcile project and budgets for all events and provide detailed reports. - Ensure alignment of other resources and materials to support events including presentations, printed collateral material, promotional items, registration packets, etc. Coordinate transportation of any executives to the site.
