Zonal Operations Manager - Micro-Finance

Our client is the largest NBFC- MFI based out of East India with AUM ~Rs.800 Cr., operations spread across 7 states and close to 250 branches). Our client is looking for Zonal Operations Manager (Process Training, Process Improvement, Internal Audit, Risk Management & Compliance). The exact details are given below:

Business planning & Support :

- Assists reporting officer in business planning and to keep close track for achieving product diversification target

- To analyze and share different operational ratios for bringing operational competitiveness among regions

- To help reporting officer in tracking progress of new branch and providing all back office related support for the same to the Regions in organized way

- To help reporting manager in target allocation to Regions, Clusters, Areas and Branches and to keep a track on uniform achievement of target on weekly and monthly basis.

- Analyses region-wise OD report and shares monthly trends with reporting officer and team

- Tracks performance of portfolio (overdue rate, PAR) and shares the trend of improvement and deterioration with reporting officer

Process Training :

- Prepare training calendar for the Zone

- Ensures PROP, RTP's and other process trainings are done on regular intervals across branches as per calendar

- Identifying different training needs of field staff for the zone and specific to regions

- Ensure quality of training across zone is as per standards

- Identifies a pool of potential external trainers for the regions in line with the requirements of the training department

- Modify training content to suit the requirements of the region / zone

- Visits branches, and shares feedback with field force about good practices and issues/problems being observed during the visit

Audit Closures :

- Collates all observations & actions taken at the region

- Ensure actions taken are as per compliance with Company's ZTP and Disciplinary Action Policy

- Ensure resolution and closure of audit and fraud findings along with the IA team at zone

- Preparation of monthly Audit Action and Closure Summary for the zone and share the same

- Maintaining Fraud and Deviation Tracker for the zone

Potential Area assessment :

- To compile survey report of area for opening new branches and share the same with Central Ops to get necessary approval

- Communicates the approved survey report to the team
