Zonal Manager Job Description

POSITION: Zonal Manager

LOCATION: Kolkata / Ahmedabad

REPORTING: Regional Ops - Head

Responsibilities:

Manage the business for an entire city with P&L accountability, GMV targets and team management responsibilities.

Acquire suppliers on the platform such as wholesalers, distributors & all other channel partners and manage them on an ongoing basis through the supplier relation team.

Manage the Supplier relationship team to ensure continuous supply of a larger selection of products at the best prices on the platform.

Responsible for continuously acquiring and building strong retailer network in the city, through a team of Retailer relationship executives.

Manage the operations in various hubs in the city with a deep focus on managing the inventory and last mile delivery to retailers through a team of delivery executives.

Build and manage processes with rigour which the various teams in the city would be required to adhere to for seamless execution.

Has to build strategy for retail sales development and align both top management and on-ground team.

Conceptualise, evaluate and execute innovative retailer acquisition programs which have longer term impact on the acquisition pipeline.

Make strategic recommendations towards improving acquisition processes and product/platform development processes.

Responsible for building, growing and training the team on constant basis.
