Zonal Manager - Sales & Distribution - FMCG - East

Role title : Zonal Manager - Sales & Distribution - FMCG for East Zone

Developing and implementing sales strategies for increase of market share and profitability on sustainable basis in line with Annual Business Plan in West Bengal and North East States.

- Focus on review of distribution structure, assets, and efficiency

- Overhaul the entire regions into a prescribed and confirmed distribution plan

- To direct the Sales team and establish sales targets brand wise as per ABP

- To motivate & direct Sales team to establish coverage, distribution and display objectives to meet targets.

- To plan and implement local sales promotion in consultation with marketing.

- To analyze stock movement/availability.

- Help business head in developing long term pricing strategy to maximize variable margin through product/ territory decisions.

- Regularly have commercial review with Commercial Manager for profitability and working capital including debtors.

- Have a clear focus on new channels to build Distribution, Visibility and volumes.

Experience & Skills :

- MBA (Marketing) with at least 10 years of experience in FMCG Sales especially handled Superstockists in East Market

- Demonstrates strong knowledge of FMCG products and FMCG markets in East

- Has established a good network of Super stockists in East Market

- Competent in negotiation with Distributors, Stockists

- Well-versed in planning and organizing marketing activities

- Has proven experience in managing product launches and gaining market share

- Adept at tracking competitor activities and identifying suitable strategies to protect and grow market share

- Demonstrates leadership abilities to build and lead high performing teams
